Help please, made a stupid mistake with Smarkets

Hi all, it’s maybe a long shot to get answer before 1500 but here goes. I had a £25 free bet to use at Ladbrokes, which I placed and then went over to Smarkets to lay against it. But instead of laying £14.53 like the calculator said, I typed in £25 instead in a rush before the odds changed.
My question is, how can I minimise the damage? Is there a bet I can do to even things out a bit like putting another tenner on at Ladbrokes?

you need to put up more info than that like odds etc but yes you can work out the difference in your losses then place a bet to cover them either on Ladbrokes another bookie or on smarkets.

Thanks Xeno, I was advised to put an £11 bet on the same race. Not sure if it was good or bad to be fair. Anyway, it’s done now so I’m pretty sure I’ve learnt my lesson. Thanks again for replying.
