Is it possible?

  • Hello guys

I am from southeastern Europe, I am planning to move to work in Ireland in the near future, here in my country its impossible to do matched betting, have tried many ways just not possible. Do you think that after i move to Ireland i will be able to do matched betting, i will have a local address and a local bank account and everything else needed to register, but if they want verfication i will have to send my id and they will see my country, do you think it it can work out? I have big hopes it does work so i can make an extra income during my stay in Ireland

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, it should be possible. You just need proof of address to prove you are in ireland. And id is just to prove who you are. It doesnt matter if your from south east Europe, you will still be allowed to bet in Ireland.

    Yep, shouldn’t be an issue.

As long as the country you are residing in allows betting and has betting exchanges you should be fine; yes, and of course you need ID and proof of address; all bookmakers and exchanged need to ensure to comply with anti-money-laundering laws.

Ireland and the UK are huge for Matched Betting; in order countries it’s only starting out. I am in Germany, for example, and there is just one page, both in English and in Germany, aiming at the German market, and explaining local laws etc. The Germans don’t even use the word Matched Betting, they tend to call it DoppelWetten, which is like double betting.

In Germany, for example, you pay a 5% tax on EVERY bet!!! Crazy! And yet, most people seem to believe it’s illegal to bet. So makes Matched Betting here difficult.

Good luck, and all the best for the move to Ireland!
