ITV have nabbed horse racing coverage from Channel 4

Probably old news to a lot of you but how depressing. Ed Chamberlin presenting “from the paddock not the studio” because that will make it sooooo much more bearable.

Cheltenham wont be the same thats for sure, ad breaks every 10 minutes. Jeez what a bummer.

Thanks for the incredible memories Channel 4 and I dont just mean since matched betting but even as a kid growing up betting small stakes with my grand mother watching on a Saturday with the likes of John Francome and John McCririck.

There was a thread on this on the forum a while back.

I never watched much racing before but since getting into matched betting have to say that yes I did enjoy the Channel 4 coverage.

I agree, and I hope its just temporary. I just can’t stand any of ITV’s sport coverage. Remember when they got Match of the Day for a couple of seasons? Just awful.

Channel 4 have been brilliant. Especially Cheltenham and more recently Aintree. The Morning Line got me through Uni.

I’ll give ITV the benefit of the doubt, as I always do. But I’m not expecting great things.
