keeping track of bets
-
just a quick query as to how everyone keeps track of all their bets, with so many offers with so many different bookies i sometimes miss out on promotions.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I don’t keep track of individual bets, just the balance in all my bookies and any deposits/withdraws which makes it easy to find out my total profit. On a Saturday for example I could have 20+ 30+ bets going on at a time and no way would I want to keep a record of each individual one and any profit/loss…some people probably do though!
But how does keeping track of bets mean you miss out on promotions?
+0I tried using a spreadsheet but takes to long,So i do the same as ryan does
HI to everyone on here too,, great site ….+0I still do a spreadsheet, which contains everything I need to know such as any free bets I need to use and reminders etc.
+0I just have a spreadsheet that tracks the balance at the end of the month in each account. And track all withdrawals and deposits.
I used to keep records of every bet and I do for some offers that have questionable value. For example the money back 2nd to sp I keep track of every bet to make sure I’m hitting enough free bets to make it worthwhile.
+0I don’t track my profit for each day, I can figure out vaguely how much I’ve made.
I do make a basic list of everything at the weekend as there is so much on which I think is important. Organise by time, list the bookie and the offer. It’s important for stuff like WH where you need to bet in-play for an event and then claim the free bet in-play the following day. Got to make sure you don’t forget to do your free bets that you’ve earnt.
Having a list of all the bookies you’ve signed upto is also helpful.
+0I have a massive list of all bookies and balances etc, I am very OTT about knowing my profit at the end of each day (not that I keep track of a daily profit just an on going total profit) I do however, keep a monthly track started this from January 2016 as I didn’t do it last year but felt like it would be interesting to see if I was averaging out the same. Last month £628.58, this month currently £754.64 (and this is skewed due to funds tied up for underlaying Barca to win Champs league for example and PSG to qualify therefore its actually higher than this). But anyway doesn’t take me long to input the balances from my bookies into the spreadsheet at the end of each evening as I have only usually used about 4 or 5!
