Hi guys,

I’m just wanting to see if this strategy for tonights Arsenal Vs Man City Game is sound?

My thoughts are to back a correct score bet where both teams do not score to automatically bag the free bet, then lay the BTTS market to ensure a profit.

Back and lay correct score 0-0 = -£4 qualifying loss (odds aren’t great hence £4 loss):

If both teams score = £25 Free bet – £4 qualifying loss = £21 free bet (£18 profit)
If result 0-0 = -£4 qualifying loss
If not 0-0 and only 1 team scores = -£4 Qualifying loss

If we then Lay both teams to score for £9 @1.64 = returns £14.75 – Liability of £5.75:

If both teams score = £25 Free bet – £4 qualifying loss – £5.75 Liability = Approx £12 profit
If 0-0 = £9 Lay bet win – £4 qualifying loss = Approx £5 profit
If not 0-0 and only 1 team scores = £9 lay bet win -£4 Qualifying loss = Approx £5 profit

I’ve squewed it so that it pays more if both teams score because I’m thinking they will.

Looks good to me. I personally put the £25 on City to win and then layed £25 off at the exchange – I’m open to a £5 loss if City win to nil but I think that’s unlikely and that loss in itself is covered by other guaranteed profits.

EDIT: They may not allow you to bet on a correct score that guarantees the free bet, might be worth double checking that.

Thanks David. Always good to get a 2nd pair of eyes looking over it. I’ve been caught out before not covering all possibilities!

Your way is fine too, I just like to come out with a profit no matter the outcome.
