Make a few bets insted of 1?

Hi!

I’m new to matched betting and want to do my first bonus.

I don’t want to risk so much money until I’m sure what I’m doing.

If I play at for example paddy power. Is it possible to first make the 10 pound bet and then make 1 10 pound bet at a time insted of all 30 pound at the samt time?

If I do it that way I need less money on my Betfair account? (use that insted of smarkets)

Will I loose any money by doing it that way?

Hi Emelie,

If you’re going to to start matched betting, please get in to the habit of reading the Terms & Conditions when you sign up so you don’t fall into something you cannot manage well.

On Paddy Power right now for example, I can see they are offering like you said, bet 10 pound get 30 pound free. If you read the full Terms & Conditions for this offer it tells you “Open a new account, place a £/€10 or more bet and receive THREE free £/€10 bets.”, so Yes, in this case you Can place 3 10 pound bets, and the T&C’s say you have 30 days to use up these bets :), so hopefully plenty of time to manage the money in your Betfair account to use up the free bets.

But for other bookies after Paddy Power – it varies between bookies.

just a quick heads up on this, don’t use betfair to lay off bets at Paddy Power. Both companies merged earlier this year so are in effect the same company and share their customer database and will bonus ban and limit you very quickly.
