Nightmare Bookies?
-
So who are the bookies to avoid? Who are the bookies who limit you first? What bad experiences have you had?
-Winner.co.uk limited my account within 5 minutes of me opening it. I hadn’t placed a bet and was obviously given the Traders Decision rubbish.
-Opened an account with 138 last week and played through the 5 bets to gain a £25 free bet. They refused my freebie on a technicality, but I told them I had screenshots of a Live Chat i’d had with them (I lied) and would report them to the Gambling Commission. They credited the free bet.

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Not so much a nightmare but I signed up with Winner, deposited £200 and therefore got a £200 bonus. Problem is to make a withdrawal, I need to play through £4000 and 50% of those bets need to be doubles or other multiples and 50% also need to be at odds of 2.0 or higher. I’ve been trying for four days to lose all the money in the account and get it from the exchange, I got down to £100 but then Bournemouth had to draw on Saturday grrrr. I’m back down to £200 tonight but yeah its been tough trying to lose it all.
Betway only bookie to restrict me so far, I’ve only done the top Champions League scorer with them so its a bit ridiculous.
BenGolden – I’m sure the majority have read the blog on mug betting but a lot of users have found it hasnt worked for them. I personally dont believe in the concept, think its more about luck and whether you’re just using the minimum stakes on offers etc.
+0Betbright have a bad habit of pulling offers at short notice, or changing the terms of the offer . Betsafe have very few inplay markets but are great for arbs, tlcbet dont let you withdraw onto mastercard so u have to ask for payment by bacs.
The worst experience I have had with a bookie has to be 188, it took them 30 days to process a withdrawal, after me sending them numerous id docs and waiting ages for them to reply to emails.+0138 were a bit of a faff to get my account “verified” in order to be able to withdraw. Has made me slightly wary of using other non-mainstream bookmakers.
+0Regarding mug betting , Reading Matt’s guide to that you’d need a load of time to mug bet across all the bookies every few days. For me personally I mugged bet like mad on paddy and they still restricted me. I never mug bet on sky and they are still happy with me.
to help you should clear all browsing history.cookies etc each time you log on. try a Vpn . There’s good guide about the steps you can take just google how bookies restrict customers
+0Exactly Ben, I spend more time maintaining my accounts with mug bets than I do matched betting the offers, I learnt my lesson after getting banned from Betfred. You need to be placing accumulators, singles lots of singles also if you’re betting on the horses make sure that you’re betting on the big race’s of the day and not maidens or sellers. And dont arb!
+0I had the same with Racebets. Placed two bets and was then restricted to SP odds. Still credited my £50 so managed to just use The Guardian tip of the day for couple of weeks without laying off any , and came in enough times to make my rollover requirement and walked away with just under 100 quid.
