Odds Match

  • Morning,

I am using the odds monkey odds matcher and it is only bringing up certain matches that have evenly matched odds for both teams so only a few matches were showing for obscure teams.

Does it matter if the odds are far apart ie England (1.95) vs Russia (4.33). Can I not just back Russia as I would not be concerned with Englands odds as i would not be using them to back or lay a bet. Could this not be done for any match in the Euros as long as the odds are above 1.5 – 2 depending on the bookmaker.

    Thanks in advance

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

It doesn’t matter how far apart the odds on different selections are. You just need to make sure that the back and lay odds are close for the same selection. So if you back England at 1.95, you need them to have lay odds close to the 2.00 mark. If you back Russia at 4.33, you need them to have lay odds closer to the 4.50 mark.

Thanks Matt thats what I thought. I asked this to Odds Monkey yesterday and they told me the wrong info. Saying that both Teams have to have similar odds. This must just be so it appears in there odds matcher which seems not to be worth using.
