What has happened?! Did this happen last night? I can’t find the free oddsmatcher anywhere, and now premium is £15 a month. I might have to pay it…

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Free one still working for me.
+0Tools > Oddsmatcher. Still free.
+0Can only laugh at their new business model. Literally spoon feeding anyone stupid enough to subscribe at this at this point. Matched betting has become so accessible, purely due to sites trying to profit from getting others involved, that I’d be surprised if the worthwhile offers aren’t all gone by the end of the year.
+0Even OddsMonkey are jumping on the bandwagon of promoting matched betting. I think the end is near. It won’t be long before all offers dry up, with thousands taking money from the bookmakers and no return for them to justify the promotional spend. Ultimately, this is clearly a good thing. Betting is zero-sum game… Think of all the hours wasted from matched bettors.
Regarding the new website for OddsMonkey, I will certainly be unsubscribing as the monthly rate has increased without warning (and all we gain is useless guides).
+0Well with a little help from “you” Jeremy, I’m sure matchedbetting will be dieing its death by the end of the year too.
+0Haha, they’ve really Jez’d matched betting up for everyone.
+0I got an email from them telling me about the update and as an existing member there won’t be any increase to my membership fees
+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
Yep, no increase from £8.99 for the remainder of your membership.
+0A bit late to the party. Do you get a refund if you sign up for a year but all your accounts get gubbed?
This forum is already at the stage where we need a sub section for people discussing their gubbings.
+0*cough(PA)cough cough…
very interesting…+0Starlord my subs £8? (monthly) 😛
out of interest can someone explain to me where that oddsmonkey odds feed comes from? I’ve seen the same format on a few sites/blogs is there a company that supplies it or what?+0Oh, maybe it is £8 :). Either way, it pays for itself easily in time saved.
As for the end of matched betting… Bookies are not going to suddenly stop doing promotions. They have to compete and attract customers and that will obviously continue. However, you’re going to be heavily restricted eventually in this game. That’s a given, and just a question of time. The real longevity lies in trading, IF you have what it takes..

I think one side-effect of all that’s going on with gubbings etc, at least, is going to be more and more of the betting public waking up and moving over to using exchanges for their punts, so more and more liquidity for traders.
Do you have what it takes then Starlord?
I’ve been looking into it and deciding if I could have what it takes 😛+0Off topic but isn’t trading the same as gambling? You’re trying to predict the future? Or have I missed something?
+0Aye, crystal ball needed imo.
