OddsMonkey no longer free?!?

What has happened?! Did this happen last night? I can’t find the free oddsmatcher anywhere, and now premium is £15 a month. I might have to pay it…

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’ve had an account with them for a while and just had a look again today. I’ve seen Profit Accumulator from a mate’s account — haven’t they basically just wholly ripped that off? I mean I shed no tears for PA, but it seems pretty brazen…
+0Someone is supplying this format as Pure Profit got it exactly the same…
+0As I understand it, OddsMonkey IS the software that the other sites use. They created it.
My £8 subscription is staying the same. To be fair I think it’s great that OM are looking after members that have been with them a while by freezing prices and there are new features – like the Racing Matcher. Other sites (PA) charge extra for that.
I don’t need the guides but you can see that they’re trying to open it up to new audiences. To be fair though, If I’d built something and then saw other websites charging £20+ for it, I’d want to get in on that as well.
+0So, I’m fairly new to the scene (about 1.5 months in)
Having initially used the OddsMonkey matching software via other sites, I eventually ended up going straight to the horses mouth so to speak and used the free version on OddsMonkey itself.
That soon became slightly frustrating because the odds were only updated every 30 minutes. So, decided to invest £8 with a view to giving it a month and seeing how much of a benefit it was having more up-to-date odds. In the time I’ve used it, I would say I was happy enough. I can see a lot more potential in terms of features I would like, that they don’t support, but…that’s another story.
Like others I received an email with information about the changes to the website, and I believe that anyone with an existing account will stay on the £8 per month tariff, which is fair play on their behalf.
As for the new site features. I do find some of the stuff useful. I get most of my offers from my own research, reload emails and looking on here (the most detailed offer walkthroughs I’ve seen!).
It is a bit of a shame that they’ve changed their model slightly and not offering the matching tool in the free version, at least not in the same manner. But they’re going down the road of offering the guides/strategy as well as the matching tools, so it makes sense for them.
The question is, what else is there out there apart from OddsMonkey (or sites which use OddsMonkeys matching tool) that does the same job for a comparable price?
