is the PokerStars sportsbook always in such a state? I went there to do their sign up offer but the site is such a mess that I’m afraid to do business with them

I’ve never done any sports betting with them, but used to play lots of poker on their site a few years back and never had a problem with them. Made thousands of dollars on their tables and had no trouble getting money out using netteller.
Used to be one of the best run poker sites but as I said have never used them for sports betting, but I would imagine that your money would be safe with them, they are not a little back street outfit.

They have made a few mistakes for me.
They gave me a £100 free bet for nothing. I didn’t complain. They give me free £5 bets here are and there. I am pretty sure its still not the sign up because I signed up in Feb – but I continue to get a free random £5 bet, it feels like every week. I don’t complain.
Never a problem with withdrawals or paying out or crediting free bets. Seem to be prompt.

Their SUB is a pain in the arse. Qualifier does indeed need to settle first, and then you get four x £5 free bets over a month! Not worth the time it takes imho
Their app (iOS at least) is also horrendous 🙁

I always have a nightmare on there as well, it just doesn’t load properly. if I was a conspiracy theorist I would say they leave it like that so you have to download their software centre…

Never had a problem with Poker Stars, have used them for years, used to leave hundreds, even thousands, in there when I played poker regularly, never felt uncomfortable about it or had any problem withdrawing. Also never had a problem since started using their sportsbook, offers are always honoured and free bets credited in good time, and a lot of their offers are well decent.
