Well, only 4 runners….odds currently 2, 2.63, 7, 23…so very surprised at this as what a chance to get a free bet!

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Cheers Ryan beaten me to it again! Lots of ways to do this one.
+0I’m lucky enough to have two accounts so just covering the top 2 so fingers crossed one of them will come 2nd.
+0They should do I would have a little punt on the 13/8 shot. 25 quid returns around 40 profit. 2nd would be a fiver down after token 3rd or 4th 25 down. May lay back half the stake but will see tomorrow.
+0Just wait to lace any bets though since a non runner will make the offer void
Good luck
+0whats the best way to play this?
+0b_smizzle…you would need to clarify what you think the meaning of best is. There is multiple ways to do this….
1) back and lay a horse for a minimal loss and hope it comes 2nd (good chance if you pick one of the two favs)
2)Underlay – ie bet on the fav and should it win you will profit from having a lower liability on the exchange or should it come 2nd you get your free bet. Any other position you will actually lose more.I would say they’re the best methods probably tons more out there though.
+0Yeah i was thinking of underlay vs equal lay/back, gonna see how I feel closer to the race
+0In a very average 4 horse race I’ll be punting the 22/1 shot!
+0For real Tony ahaha? Id assume with those odds it wont even finish 2nd aka £25 down the drain
+0lol… It’ll be a separate punt from the promotion and not £25!!… Probably get very good odds on the exchange
The NR was the odds on favourite in this race… I’ve seen too many very short favourites done by 40/1 shots to let this one slip under the radar ??
+0Hmmmmm
Got a say I am tempted to take a risk here. £25 on the top two, one at Sky, one at other bookie.
Favourite with the other bookie. If fav wins you get almost all your money back plus a good shot at the free bet
If the 2nd fav wins you get no free bet but you’ve made £12.50 profit
If an outsider wins you still have a good shot at the free bet but will be downHmmm maybe it’s not such a good idea.
+0Not sure if I would prepared to risk that much Ice Magic especially on amateur jockeys.
I do however think I could be punting it as I doubt we will get good qualifying losses. Likelihood is that they will at least finish top 2 so you get to double up (or more) for a probably risk of £5 which makes it worthwhile.
Will review tomorrow though. Thanks for the share Ryan, helpful as usual!
+0I disagree I think qualifying losses will be alright…tend to be fine with short odd favs
+0I know where your coming from so will check tomorrow. I just see it as a good punt opportunity and will be more profitable, if you do enough like this, to maximise profits.
+0Managed a loss of £1.50, get me the free £5 next week if nothing else.
