Starting Bank strategy

  • I have been looking into Matched Betting for a few months and just decided to take the plunge (whether this is the best time to get started or not seems to be debatable). With a starting bankroll of £1,000 I assume it still best to get your feet wet doing smaller offers but theoretically what would I need to take on the £200+ welcome bonuses in future?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

£1000 is a good float to get started with, if you do the smaller ones to start with and work up the offers (and do those bookies ongoing offers) you will triple that at least by the time you need to worry about the bigger sign up offers.

bet365 needs £1200 to be rolled over so you need at least that in your exchange plus the £200 initial deposit required, but to get through it comfortably more is better.
some of the others require more depending on how many times rollover is required, I saw someone say it took over £4K to get out of winner!
Definitely do your research and look through the T+Cs and this forum, there are plenty of threads on the subject.
    Good luck.

Thanks for the reply deathstar, to be honest I think I might just take a scorched earth approach to all this and not take any measures to stop getting gubbed. I already got limited by several bookies just doing regular betting so I might just do the welcome offers and then arb those accounts to death!

Fair enough. just keep an eye on your balance. it might be worth doing all the sign ups first, then go back to the first and then go arb crazy.
