Wednesday (Day 2) – Chat/Tips/General Thread

New day, new thread and hopefully a change of fortunes!

Perseverance is the key, along with sticking to the game plan. At times on Tuesday I felt like abandoning the strategies and techniques that have served us all so well, but that would be daft. At times I definitely felt like I was reaching a bit too much – e.g. wasting time looking for odds that never appeared on Hills for the High 5 offer. Need to be more realistic, this is the best jumps meeting in the world. In the main it’s going to be competitive with few races won by the golden margin.

I plan to spend more time on e/w arbs tomorrow if time allows, totally neglected them today.

Looking forward to seeing Neon Wolf in the 13:30. That could be an indicator of how my day will go, just like Melon was on Tuesday (unfortunately!)

Yep I’m all set up for the 3.30, hoping for one or two placed horses there. Other than that, I’m taking a break until tomorrow and off to enjoy the sun.

I know very well how odds work thank you. Neon Wolf was my own personal banker not the markets. Last year Sprinter Sacre was my personal banker and he won at 7/1.

Twats like you and all your aliases make this forum such a crappy place to post nowadays so for that reason I’ll be stepping away too.

Agree with Chris here. There is a bunch of names that pop up out of nowhere but are obviously ppl hiding behind a new name. Clearly hiding for a reason.

Its embarassing isnt it…especially when they try to take off me and obviously cant be anywhere near as good! One post asking where the free bets are and the next saying they got £55 quid then lollipop. Reckon there mummy shouts them down for tea after the races finish

Anyway, onto the next. Managed to get Tin Soldier at 8/8.2 & 2.75/2.84 – praying for 4th or 5th, not holding out much hope.

Another poor day for me for speculative offers

1:30 Will Hill Higher 5 was a no go
14:10 Skybet E/W punts did not come in
14:50 Coral E/W Punts did not come in, Betstars MB not even worth bothering with

Hoping for the High 5 on Douvan to come in

Not sure if the Ladbrokes offer on the 17:30 will come in but heres hoping!
