What about the back bet comission?

  • Hey guys,

I have not started doing matched betting yet, I am new here. However, I have spent the last 3-4 days reading very intensively about it and I want to give it a shot. This blog was very helpful, but there is one thing I don’t understand in all the examples involving the Matched Bett Calculator.

Take the guide for placing qualifying bets, for example: https://matchedbettingblog.com/qualifying-bet-strategy/

It’s an example that uses Ladbrokes for the back bet, however, if you look at the calculator picture at the bottom, you see that Ladbrokes’ comission of 5% was not entered into the blue box. In fact, I haven’t seen a single example on this site where the comission field in the blue box (back bet) was filled out with anything else than 0%.

What am I missing here, why is that so?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

There is no commission paid to the traditional bookies on the back bet.
They make their cut from a 108 round-up.
