Which Calculator do you use?
-
Hey up,
Just wondering what calculators people use when placing their matched bets?
I either use the one on this site or the free one on oddsmonkey, which I find pretty easy to use.
Are there any others that people would recommend?
cheers,

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I usually use tricky bet advanced lay calculator.
+0depends what you want to do, there are probably hundreds with the basic function. then there are spreadsheets for “refund if” , acca, free bet if win etc etc etc.
then there is Ultimatcher which is another level againOf course, the best way to understand the maths behind the method is to make your own.
I use a little desktop app thing for basic matching that I like cos I can move it about and its set for “always on top”. can’t remember where I found it now, definitely on google somewhere.
+0Yes, I tried using the ultimatcher spreadsheet for a while to try and track my profits, but for some reason I didn’t trust it and preferred to use my own.
I think it was more to do with the fact that I wasn’t using it properly, and also it didn’t seem to have a very good ‘undo’ button!
Totally agree about making your own to understand what’s going on. I did that as well for the basic calculations.
+0What would recommend for Accas as well? I’ve seen a lot of spreadsheets floating around, but not sure where best to look online.
