Ladbrokes boosts get better once you hit 6.0. It will boost half a point or better from there.
+0Started off greed rather than insurance mbpunter! The market reopened after the photo finish and I thought it was a glitch (someone on here claimed Betfair glitches like this but now I realise they were blindly betting through stewards enquiries) so out a bit more on. Then realised bets were coming both ways so something was up, then worked out what it was when I saw result not yet offficial. I was £90 up from the boost, so topped up to £110 (would made me level on this offer for last 3 days!). Hills were quick as settled during all this.
Re the boosts – we did work it all out somewhere on here. I think hills is a flat 8%, they convert to decimal odds so it’s precise. Ladbrokes is 5% but rounded up to next fractional odds.
Ladbrokes the value is in getting the right rounding so you get 0.5 boost on lowest odds possible. When I got gubbed I was getting 5.5/5 and often 5.5/4.8 so a risk free shot at 100+ ….with a 1 in 5 chance of coming in so EV of 20 a day
I think you can also get multiple boosts on same betslip which someone else played it, but my method needed timing.Hills used to offer 100%cashout so I started being a bit more aggressive looking to delay my lays using cashout as my backup if it drifted. They’ve switched to more like 365s cashout now so you would make a loss, but I’m often looking to basically trade a little too to push the potential up.
Ideally I look to combine with 2 clear, but any horse race of I have time or other sports event if not. Seem to get perfect matches in football draws sometimes or slight arbs on American football underdogs for reasonable risk free profits.

Yeah that’s right on Ladbrokes, you can for example boost all selections of an acca. Which is handy for say getting a 3.6/7 acca boosted past the minimum combined required of 4.0. Still eligible for acca insurance too.

The hills boosted stuff was restricted and others were boosting stuff left, right and centre so was hard to get good matches. Assuming Churchill was boosted shortly after the above post as it’s not been that low since.
Not really taken proper advantage of it today. On Stradivarius, effective odds of about 30-1 as not laid commission. Of course it’s come in price since but wasn’t sure when I’d be online before the race (got burnt again yday delaying my lay then getting tied up until the price was way off!)
+0Cheers, i can get the maximum on the footy boosts. So maybe just a horse restriction or they’d already taken enough at 9/2 by that stage.

I’ve got my boost, sometimes I have trouble with it not showing up, but i generally sign into my account from another device and it’s shows up then

+0It wasn’t there for me this morning either but showed when I checked an hour ago. Hope it continues, they’ve been advertising it on TV quite a lot so it would seem a strange move if they just stopped it.
