William Hill

  • Will Hill are doing money back for 2nd on the dogs today.
Been doing it a bit on the horses and very profitable, but not sure what the liquidity will be like on the dogs tho, it’s rubbish at the mo but i’m sure it will pick up closer to the races!

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Ladbrokes doing exactly same offer for the same meeting so could get 2 dogs per race, might be a good earner today!

Nice one, Greig. So they’re doing six races the same, where there’s a 33% chance of having one of your two dogs coming in second. So that would be around £50 of free bet refunds. Ladbrokes then has an additional four races covered, so perhaps another £25 out of that. So betting 16x £25 is £400, with £75 back in free bets, extracting around £60 from. So it depends how close we get the lay odds, or maybe just stick to the races which are double-covered.

That said, I’m probably going to be drunk by then, so might be best for me to steer well wide.

Bet 365 are doing their 2/1 offer on this meeting too! So potential for decent returns if the liquidity is good on betfair!

The liquidity for the dogs is always terrible. This could be a tricky one to do!

    What’s the bet365 offer? I can see it says 2/1 but there’s no description or t’s & c’s that i can see??

The risk free bet applies to the very next race, which falls in between the WillHill ones. Think I’ll just use these as a punt: https://extra.bet365.com/promotions/en/greyhound-racing/sky-dogs

Lay liquidity is very poor. Think I’ll just put small bets down initially and not lay them, and see how I go. Maybe just back other three dogs with small bets on BetFair.

    Good luck all.

The price difference between Hills and Betfair isnt making this a very good offer at all so far!!!

No, it’s been pretty rubbish. I’ve kept my stakes low, had my 365 win in the first, punted that in the second, losing and being refunded. Had my Ladbrokes and WillHill finish 1st and 2nd in the last race, but owing to bets placed on the exchange I’m looking at breaking even. Think I’ll pack this in.

Probably no good to most of you now but I’ve had moderate success Dutch in between the three bookies putting my money on 2 dogs at each bookies. The odds have been different enough that I’ve risked between £1-5 each race with the possibility of having a winner and a 2nd place in the same race which has happened twice!

Overall once I’ve cashed my free bets in I’m going to be about £3-6 up I reckon so not really worth the time but I’ve had nothing better to do this afternoon!

What I didn’t consider until after the first race was that only my first bet at each bookie counted for the free bets so I had to place the larger amount first in each case.

Maybe something to consider if this lot of offers comes in again. Or maybe not!
