WINNER – Deceptive £200 Welcome Bonus… Help!

  • So I opened an account with Winner, depositing the full £200 to get £200 matched. I read the summarised T&Cs but couldn’t open the full ones, so I just clicked accept anyway…

There is a £3,200 turnover requirement, and if you happen to keep winning in Winner and your lay bets in the exchange lose, you CANNOT withdraw any of the profits until you have bet on 8 different matches with at least £50 each. This wouldn’t sound so bad until you realise they will effectively STEAL money you have made in your account, using your own money, unless you have done these 8 bets (which reduces your likelihood of a quick payout) AND THEN bet £3,200! That means if you’re unlucky – like me – and your 3/1 shot comes off you’re left with £1,440 in your account and you need to either clear it, or bet another £1,800 just to make sure you don’t LOSE IT ALL after 14 days.

Has anyone else had this problem? How did you get around it?? This is NOT a welcome bonus that should be endorsed on Matched Betting Blog EVER IMO…

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

When I did their offer exactly a year ago (was feb 2015), it was a simple bet £5 get £20 deal, lost both to the exchange and done and dusted, never used em since.

The offer that Jim posted seems a lot less hassle tho.

    Ah, Winner. So many memories.
I signed up to get a £200 deposit bonus. The rollover was £3,200 (50% on multiples) in 14 Days! However, I knowingly took on their T&Cs.

After a textbook start placing 7 losing £50 bets in a row, I wagered my final £50. Guess what? It won. As did the next 7 or 8. Suddenly I had £800 with Winner. I still had plenty of bankroll to continue laying. The snag was another one of their terms. The maximum amount I could take from the offer was £1,000 (including my original £200).

So I started punting. As mug betting goes I went on an unbelievable streak and ended up with over £2k after putting bets on everything (footy, horses, tennis, snail racing, etc) to meet the rollover requirements.

I actually wagered about £4k of my Monopoly money just to be on the safe side before withdrawing my £1,000 and breathing a massive sigh of relief.

Jetbull offer is the same complete waste of time if your bet wins at the bookie a absolute nightmare to withdraw. They even have limits on amount you can bet and certain events ie a couple of champions league games would let me place a bet. Now all my funds are tied up in jetbull. Worst decision i ever made opening a account with these Also the prices are rubbish cannot get decent matches this is my worst nightmare

Google ‘Winner bet 25 get 50’ for their alternative welcome offer
