My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I like to use oddschecker and check the bookies odds the night before. Most bookies start putting their odds on there from late afternooon.
I usually check around about 11pm onwards to see what odds the bookies and exchanges are showing and make a note of a few i fancy and then 9am onwards the following day i keep an eye on what’s moving and what’s not.

    Simples…..

Mikey – the number of runners and non-runners can screw you big time.

Also to mke really decent money you need to get on at least 3 horses @ £50ew in a bad ew.

Tony claimed to be a tiger but turned out to just be a pussy cat. Da big dog ate him up and spat him out…so he spat his dummy out and had to be banned

I don’t think you are him pup mind

Tony the C reckoned on making a shed load of cash real easy. His trouble was he expected everyone else to do the work for him.
You are trying to get your head round it at least, but you are over-estimating the rewards (at least for the short term) and totally under-estimating the amount of time and hardwork required. Just my opinion, nothing personal.

Sleepless I’d use the image of trying to swim with da sharks and big dogs when still learning doggie paddle? Mikey you will get there though trust da dog. U might not believe this but the first few months when I started I wasn’t even hitting 1k a month…it even took me a while to get there. And I wont usually admit this but i made 1 or 2 mistakes too so dont rush this

Ncfc I’ll say this to you and I said it to Tony before. Ew arbing is hard. The only way you can do it is to try it yourself with small stakes on the correct races. I remember reading extra place guides and thinking god this is difficult. It’s only when I had a go at the grand national last year and hit 6th that it all started.

My biggest advice is from thurs-sat there will be a lot of extra place offers around which are ideal to get this theory going as they are a lot more easier to do and can build confidence up. Once you do a few races you see that you can make a percentage of your stake as profit. It’s at that point you go a bit bigger but always be prepared to take a hit if you go for a 5/8 or 16 runner race. With the flat season starting late withdrawals are a lot more common. Be prepared for odds to drift on a horse and take action as necessary. For example if you back a horse at 7/1 and the place is 2 at that time the horse may suddenly be 11 on the exchange but 2.4 to place. At that time take it as it can happen that the horse will go off at a higher price and if it places or wins you can get a decent sized bog.

My final piece of advice is if your new to it only do 1 thing at a time. These days to keep me going on restricted accounts I can have 10 loaded and have the boxes ready to tick and go through them all. Doing that I have made a couple of mistakes.

And his repeated rants about bookies not giving away enough sleepless!

Wonder if he still comes on here but annoyed he can’t post, or just rants to his mates (? Or mirror) about some guys online who think they can make money from bookies

Ashame Tony left actually. Being a palace fan I’m sure he would have taken sat well!

Calm down mikey. There was a guy called Tony C who was constantly asking for help but it turned out he knew exactly what he was doing, he was just pretending to be a learner so that people on here would do the hard work of finding offers and spoon-feeding him how to do them. He then got banned but he just kept making new accounts and trolling. Its no wonder some of the regulars are wary of newbies turning up saying they are going to earn £3k a month then have no idea. No-one minds helping, we were all new to this once, but being used is something else.
For what its worth, I don’t think you are him.

possibly. you need more proper outsiders @ 100/1+ to be a real bad e/w race.

14:40 at Southwell is more likely.
    Beware non-runners.
