Bad EW Races NO CHAT

  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Orlando, thats the Oddsmatcher you are referring to. The Eachway Matcher finds horses with there and then place arbs, the approach advocated on here looks for selections which are likely to become place arbs. (If I could format this text become would be in italics.)

Oddsmonkey ew matcher is about as much use as a one-leg man in an arse kicking contest.

With hindsight it probably was Tony C then!

Not even got round to looking at racecards or the 3pm field so looks a tad late now! Probably good job with some of odds shifts mentioned here.
Sadly had time to do my 10bet no lays this morning, dud results on that so far

    What are 10bet no lays.

That ncfc reminded me a lot of Tony. Coming on already knowing all the characters but claiming to come from somewhere else. Asking what profit ppl are making. Wanting hand holding.

Yeah, any decent arbs on the EW matcher are eaten up as soon as they appear, have to be super quick.

Does oddsmonkey’s e/w matcher even work properly..

I was looking at it before the bad each way races at Cheltenham and it seemed to completely ignore them, the best it could come up with was making 5p per £1,000 (or something similar) in one of the other races.

It must be a work in progress.

Since I have been ew arbing a while occasionally using betfair sports book I noticed quite often you can get great arbs on low priced favourites.Usually between 1.5-2.25 favourite I was frequently allowed to put between £500-1000 on to win. This was a great source of revenue on my gubbed sports book account laying off on smarkets.I have been doing this a lot over the last 4-6 weeks making some great returns on races(more than ew arbing)I’m in the middle of moving house so taking a month off n getting some fresh accounts.I will definitely be getting back on this when my new sports book account is gubbed again. One to look out for while you are searching horse odds xx

point nicely made dingo, you don’t need high odds to make an arb.
these are the kind of things that newbies are not realising when they read my guide, along with the risks involved, and assume there is £3k in it. Feels like I shouldn’t have posted it now…

Just the money back 2nd horses offer fog.
Just getting on early enough where BOG gives u a decent starting point then finding the races where there’s a reasonable chance of 1/2 with the 2 favourites.
Bigger variance and lower return than the accas though!

Sack ew arbing the horses get on the golf…
Matsuyama was 26/26 for win and 7.2/5.8 for place with betfred …. chance at £112 from £90 ew … only losing £3.60 in commission if knowwhere

supert. Fair point about the golf arbs but you need a really big float as your cash is tied up for 3 dys, not 3 hours

    2:20 at Aintree.

    Bet365 is enhanced odds too.

Three horses look like ew arbs already.

If you back ew and lay the win now. Even if there is a non-runner. Is it still likely you will get the price on the 2tbp market to get out almost even?
