Conner it is pure luck. Unless you work for them and are aware of all the certain criteria their computers look for etc you can query it for hours but you will never know. My bet history with Betfair sportsbook is £10 £10 £10 £10 £10 £10 £10 £10 on every single double correct score, I have won a couple of these £65 free bets £80 free bets £110 free bets (I think there might be another but have forgotten). I am yet to be had, yet Pickle who bet far less got restricted. I think its pointless to spend the time trying to analyse the reasons behind it etc as you will quite frankly never know. This is the case with many many more bookies and people, I had a friend who never ever mug bet on Paddy (I did) Yet I got the restriction email he didn’t. Just find your luck and hope for the best.

You’re probably right. I also think though that their selection criteria or the systems in place to identify mugging candidates, probably have numerous variables and inputs – and we all have different betting habits. Markets, stake amounts, time of placement, browsing activity, exchange history etc etc. And of course we’re all different. Some more muggy (or lucky) than others perhaps

Think I lost this one after 2 or 3 bets!i didn’t bet with them for about 6 weeks then they gubbed me out of the blue.waste of time..
