Bet365 2up

  • Hi, I just wondered how everyone was getting on with the Bet365 2up offer.

I’ve done it a few times now and I’m frequently having my team go two goals ahead. However, when they do, the back odds are then so small that it’s not been worth cashing out then and I’ve left it for the other team to pull back first. I’ve not had this 2nd part happen for me yet after several attempts.

I’m wondering how other people on the forum are doing with this, what their success rate is, how they find the matches, and just the general experience of this offer.

I’ve read elsewhere that this can be a good money maker, and as I mostly do football offers, I’d like to find out how true that is and hopefully get the right method down for starting to make a profit from this.

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙂

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I’ve been trying this for the last week or so (with no success yet).

Nearly made a bit on the NFL last week and would have had a good cashout (probably £300-£400) but match was on through the night which meant it was all or nothing, my team finished 3 ahead after taking an early 14-0 lead.

Should have also made decent money on the WH/Man U game last week but BF didn’t unsuspend game between when it went 2-1 and 3-1.

Was kicking myself that I missed Man U on Saturday, was planning to get on Newcastle but was on a train and missed the kick off. I think the QL would wave been about 10% of your stake but that was giving effective odds of about 100-1 of hitting.

I think the best tactic is to go for the underdog, you normally have to take a small QL but when they do go 2up you get a decent payout.

I was on Valencia last night for about £5 QL to win £600. When they scored early I was able to lay them to score next at about 2.5 for £20 to take some profit. I figured that if they did get the next goal quickly I would be on a decent payout.

If you do do it steer clear of the Oddsmonkey thread…. it will just annoy you how everyone seems to hit winner after winner on every single game where a team blows a 2 goal lead.

14 Up on the NFL seems to come in more often…getting a new 365 account sorted in the next few days so next week I am going to try and dutch the matches with my Paddy account.

I have honestly made thousands off this since August.

It’s by far the best offer out there.

Newcastle United were still 1.9 with the exchange at 2-0 up which gave a huge return if you wanted to cash out. I always cash some and leave some inplay.

Man City v Lyon this season was the best 2Up EVER!!

I don’t tend to bother with the geegees unless I’m bored.

An ungubbed Bet365 account is literally worth thousands.

I’ve just begun to look at these with PP but have got a bit confused with it. Yesterday Chelsea went 2 up in about 70th minute. I decided to wait to see if Southampton would get one back just to increase the lay odds. They didn’t, By the 80th minute I decided to cash out. I had used Smarkets where the option is to “trade out”. is that the same as cash out? The lay odds were 1.005 but when I “traded out” the lay and the liability were added together and I apperard to lay the amount at 1.005 which I didn’t understand. By the end of the match Smarkets had paid me the lay the same as if I hadn’t traded out. Did I do something wrong? Is this the price I pay by choosing very low odds? If so is it best to choose a team where the odds are similar for both teams?

A question about tomorrow’s (Tues Oct 9) potential 2up games. On the offer page, it says it applies to English EFL Cup and English FA Cup. I see that tomorrow b365 lists “England FA Cup Qualification” and “England EFL Trophy” – does the offer apply to these? Or are they different tournaments?

To add to the confusion, tomorrow’s matches under the title “English FA Cup” on betfair correspond to the “England FA Cup Qualification” matches on b365…

@ adio, like all these offers the value is from the offer – any subsequent lay bets after are usually effectively just insurance coming with a small premium. (even at 0% comm you have the market middle and possible liquidity gaps)

Like bbob mentioned you need to make sure you’re getting decent implied odds. That goes whether you lay or not – and even if you aren’t laying you should always be checking the lay price to make sure the value is there.

Not laying anything can trigger some pretty big and wild variance though. I’d lay the qualifying bet then let the rest go if I was doing it, but depends on need for short term cash or any short term profit goals which may override long term value.

If you are going to dutch the NFL 14up offer with bet365 and PP then bare in mind the PP offer only applies to televised NFL games shown on BBC or Skysports.

Just to clarify with this promotion. B365 will pay out if a team goes 2 clear goals up. Say the home team goes 1-0 up but then the away team scores 3. Will they pay out because the away team are 2 clear goals up. Or does the team have to go 2-0 up to get a pay out.

Bazza, yes they will pay out. You understood correctly- the terms are that if your team is 2 goals clear at any moment, you get paid.

Imagine a hypothetical game between Liverpool and Everton, Everton go into a two goal lead in the first 10 minutes, But Liverpool fight back and score 4 goals by the 60 minute.

But then Lovren decides to go and get sent off and Everton finish the game strongly making it 4-4.

You would get paid out on both Liverpool and Everton and the lay.

So yes it applies if a team goes 2 goals ahead at anytime

Betfred does something similar in shops with their “2 clear and collect” coupon. However I am not sure about their terms. It states on the coupon “once your teams go 2 goals clear collect your winnings”.

I want to clarify does this mean I get paid if and only if my team is 2 goals clear, and otherwise I lose? For example I have a match Team A vs Team B. I bet on Team A. If the final score is 1-0 (Team A won), do I still get paid? Or have I lost because Team A only scored 1 goal?

Does anyone not lay the initial QL bet. In week 1 and week 2 of the season 2 goals up was at 70% to 80%.. for a £25 stake on all Premier League games you would make a tidy profit. Looking the Chelsea v Man Utd game this week. The odds on Chelsea are 1.75/1 78 for £25 the QL is 0.42p. But if Chelsea go 2 up. If would take for ever for their odds to go above 1 78.

Adio if your team wins you collect your bet whatever the score and of course if they go 2+clear and go on to lose/draw you also collect the win.
Unless its some crazy new coupon where the win odds are considerably higher ie 100%+ that bedfred have created-which I highly doubt

Wish I had some betfreds near me! I’d be bashing that every time they had a short price fav matching up closely on the exchanges!

Bazza, I think that’s what Betman posted on earlier in this thread: not laying should give larger profits.

My own experience certainly confirms that. I have placed over 80 bets so far, and I would have a larger profit if I didn’t lay. Earlier this evening, I backed £120 on Middlesborough and £40 on Alaves… if only I didn’t lay, I’d have made a nice return on that!

However I’m not ready brave enough not to lay at, just yet.
