Bet365 Penalty Payback

  • Bet365 getting in on the Euro 2016 act too, and it looks a good one. Place a bet on any team to win Euro 2016 outright and receive your stake back in cash if they are knocked out on penalties. This offer remains available up until the final itself kicks off on 10th July. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but it also looks like you can bet on more than one team

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    This is even better 😉

Me: Would you be eligible for cashback if you backed a team outright, just as a game they were taking part in went into Penalties ?

Me: ie say Spain vs Portugal went to penalties, and i at this point Backed £100 on each, if Spain Knocked out Portugal would i get my £100 back on Portugal ?

Bet365: The offer is available throughout the tournament and the Outright market will be one which is offered In-Play so the bets would count should you bet on that market.

maybe a bit risky tho to back both teams as they could view that as abusing the offer? still, the fact they allow inplay means we can even just back one team before penalties start and have a 50/50 chance at money back.

The more I think about this the more I think one of two things are going to happen. Either Bet365 are going to change their offer in some way to prevent you doing what Anto has suggested, or anyone taking advantage of this offer once its certain or fairly certain there is going to be a penalty shoot out will be gubbed fairly quickly.

I will probably do the offer the way Matt suggested in his blog, lost a few accounts recently don’t really want to loose Bet365.

I had another thought about this offer. It says on the Bet365 website that the book on the ‘To Win Outright’ market closes on 10th June at 8:00pm i.e. when the tournament kicks off. Yet the terms of the offer state that it will be available until the final on 10th July. I’m thinking this implies the market will become officially an ‘in-play’ market once the tournament starts. And we know from the Champions League offers that the odds offered nosedive the second a market goes ‘in-play’!

This won’t offset the advantage to be gained from waiting to see which teams look like going to penalties before getting involved, but for those who don’t want to make it look too obvious what they are doing, decent qualifying losses on teams likely to make it to the knockout stages anyway might be harder to come by after the tournament starts.

    Just for consideration.

Nice post Blue, I think your reasoning makes good sense.
