Well, Robertson is a great player so I do still have some hope. Possible century this frame, he’s getting better!

Ronnie is just streets ahead of them all on his day. It just depends on if he can hold interest in it for two weeks.

Robertson looks good to pull it back to 3-3 now

What was the QL on Robertson? Hopefully £10 in free bets will cover it 🙂

    3-3 and two century breaks.

The QL on Robertson was about £13 when I took it. 6.50 back and 7.4 Lay, so not great. But to be honest I quite faniced Robertson this year anyway and I’m hoping for a Ronnie collapse.

I might end up in a bit of a mess but it’s also a bit of fun over the tournament. I laid £40 and put a £10 bet on Michael Holt when he was still 7.0.

If Robertson goes out to Holt I will be about £10 up plus free bets (2 currently)

If he makes it though I’ll be an extra £10 down and will have to see how the lay odds shift over the tournament. If Ronnie goes out and Robertson is still in I expect his odds will fall drastically.

Ronnie will probably be on fire for two weeks and I’ll look back on this as a daft plan!

Michael Holt is playing really well, managed to watch that last frame just now, played some fantastic shots under pressure.

Yep, he really is playing great to be fair to him. It’s been a great match so far. Robertson 1 shot from being 4 – 5 but has ended up 3 – 6 down. Tough for Robertson from here.

Still havent layed Ronnie. If anyone else is in the same boat as me, wait until tomorrow morning. Judd Trump is 6-3 down in his match and if he goes out along with Ding Junhui tonight, those lay odds should hopefully come crashing down, possible arb.

Yep Chris. I’ve also still got the Betfred enhanced Ronnie (3.5) at £100 still to lay, could guarantee £25+ at the minute, underlay for 70+ or let it run for longer…

Usually root for Trump, but on this occasion not so. Also hope the Barry Hawkins loses as Ronnie is up against the winner of that match next.

Looking at the schedule its unclear when Ronnie plays his second round match. He doesnt appear on the listings for today or tomorrow. Obviously this benefits us as more players could exit the tournament before he plays again.

He plays Hawkins Sunday afternoon and Monday evening, last 2nd round match to finish

According to Betfair, Ronnie is due to play from 14:30 Saturday, so plenty of time for other players to fall by the wayside.

Looks like it isn’t today or tomorrow anyway. Hawkins just finished his 1st Round match yesterday so I assume that they will give him a few days break before he has to play Ronnie especially considering Ronnie has had what feels like a full week off.

There are two 2nd Round matches starting today, and then two more tomorrow, so assume two more start Saturday and two more Sunday.

Thanks guys, that clears it up.

Not sure who else you want to fall by the wayside. It’s Ronnie’s to lose now especially if Trump goes home today..

How good is Baird? Can he take out Selby?
