Betsafe free bet

  • Hi

I placed a £20 free bet and it came in on betsafe £76. Tried to withdraw the funds and it wouldn’t let me. They said I have to place the £76 on another bet with odds 1.5 or higher. What would be the best way to go about this. I was using this bet along with another one (£25 free bet) and just laying one bet on smarkets of £45. So have I done this the wrong way and potentially lost some profit or is there a way round it.

    Thanks.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

If I have understood your second post correctly, laying the three qualifying bets in one go is only the right approach if the back odds with the bookies were exactly the same? If not, you may end up underlaying or overlaying, which would skew your calculations.

Like Enforcer says, I’d stay clear of laying multiple bets in one transaction unless the back odds are all identical. Can be done, but for a newbie (presumably), its harder to keep track of each bet and the qualifying losses etc. It seems to me that you are rushing things mate. Take it a bit slower, bet-by-bet, until you are sure of what you are doing, the potential outcomes of each bet result and make sure you know what the t&c’s of each offer is – rollover etc. Its very easy to make to mistakes and lose money at this. Take your time, read these threads and the guides – can’t stress this enough!

Thanks for the help. Yeah will just go back to bet by bet for now easier that way.
