Betsafe free bet

  • Hi

I placed a £20 free bet and it came in on betsafe £76. Tried to withdraw the funds and it wouldn’t let me. They said I have to place the £76 on another bet with odds 1.5 or higher. What would be the best way to go about this. I was using this bet along with another one (£25 free bet) and just laying one bet on smarkets of £45. So have I done this the wrong way and potentially lost some profit or is there a way round it.

    Thanks.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

not sure what you’ve done but it sounds like you need to rollover your winnings. just find a close match above 1.5 and bet through.
I don’t know why you are using your free bet on the same thing, apart from confusing yourself (and me! lol) SNR free bets should be used at higher odds to extract more money.

    I’ll try and explain better.

I placed 3 qualifying bets to get 3 free bets. All my qualifying bets were placed on the same match at each bookies and I just placed one lay bet on smarkets for £45

    1 x £10 bet on stan james for a £20 free bet
1 x £25 bet on betvictor for £25 free bet
1 x £10 bet on betsafe for £20 free bet.
1 x £120 bet placed on smarkets for liability total placed £165

Once my bets had been placed I used my free bets from betvictor and betsafe as they came in once I had placed the bet i still have to use my stan james bet. I placed my free bets on the same match at each bookies and again just one lay bet on smarkets with a liability of £132. My bet lost on smarkets and came in at the bookies so I got one win of £90 and one of £76 I was able to withdraw the £90 but can’t withdraw the £76 as I need to place that on another match before I can withdraw it. Is there a way to get my profit out of this £76 or have I lost this money. If I lay it off on smarkets I would have to put more liability down so I wouldn’t get any profit from it. So I am £45 short so far but still have £20 free bet to use which will get me about £13 so need to get another £30

Not sure if this makes any more sense.

hard to understand what your saying mate.

i think you need to rollover your money in betsafe x 1

stick your £76 on GERMANY/poland atm 1.6/1,6 and lay appropriatly in smarkets you will end up with £122 in betsafe should they win . then withdraw. If germany lose your money will be in smarkets.

WHY HAVE YOU PLACED £120 in smarkets after you originally layed your bets?

Thanks. My £120 was for laying off the £45 of qualifying bets. Its hard to explain it on paper

if I place money on Germany and lay it off will I not lose money as i would have to put more money into smarkets to have enough to lay off the bet so I wouldn’t get any profit from it.

At the moment I will be £10 short as I will be getting about £15 from my other £20 free bet so I will have £135 of my initial lay out back . My main profit is tied up in the £76 in betsafe.

Why do you think you have lost money?

Back Germany as advised below and lay the same option on smarkets. You may lose £2-3 on commission for this additional bet, but will then either have all the money in betsafe which can now be withdrawn, or on smarkets which can be withdrawn also

    I’m easily confused lol

How would this be worked out is it a SNR bet or am I still missing the point.

would I just place a bet on smarkets of £29 with liability of £17 for a return of £46 on smarkets. So profit would be £29.

Sorry for being really crap at this.

It’s just cash in your bet safe account yes? So a normal bet.

Open the calculator, put £76 as your stake and enter the odds. It will tell you how much to lay.

Don’t want to come off sounding like an arse, but if you are struggling to back and lay a simple bet maybe this isn’t for you. Easy to lose a lot off money if you make mistakes

mate i think your doing this completely wrong,, i havnt got a clue what your doing.
did you lay £120 in smarkets or was that your liability?
your next bet in betsafe is a qualifying bet so just a normal bet and layed approprialy

so bet £76 germany to win and lay germany for £76.96. your liability will be £46.18 . your losses will be 58p

i think you have placed your previous bets wrong somehow and that is maybe why your confused as to whats happening with your money. hopefully you havnt and your just not explaining very well

The cash in my betsafe account is from a free bet I can’t withdraw it until i roll it over once. I’m not having trouble backing and laying have made a bit of money on a few other bets so far.

    The £120 was my liability.

Would it not be a snr bet as it is money I made from a free bet that will be used
