  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I have done a lot of ‘mug bets’ in conjunction with other offers. Not sure if this helps. There appears little logic other than overuse of the 50 inplay.

Really su prised I haven’t only bets I’ve done is the sign up, mobile and for of the in play risk frees and withdrawn my winnings. I suppose the thing in my favor is if I’m out and about and think my signal will be flakey I don’t do the offers so I’m not doing everyone

Think I’ll skip the next 50 quid offer to put myself under the radar a bit

I’m doing the same skipping next offer and may mug a bit but that doesn’t seem to matter. knowing my luck i’ll mug and win there!

I dont think missing one will help..just make you lose out on £30? I say do it while you can..you could miss it then get the email anyway

Taking advantage of every offer versus skipping the odd one now and then – I know what looks better from the bookies point of view. I have no problem losing out on 30 quid if it keeps my account open longer. Would rather my matched betting “career” last as long as possible.

You don’t know thats true though…that simply you’re own personal opinion

Agree with Ryan. Say you skip one offer only to get gubbed after doing the next, same difference. Or worse, it happens before the next offer comes along. Make hay while the sun shines.

I never said I knew it was true by the way, I said I know it looks better. That’s not conjecture – it’s common sense.

None of us know the best way of avoiding being gubbed & we all have our own way of doing things. Now matched betting is more popular I think bookies are quicker to gub

Mind you regarding the £100 you had put on the Chelsea game, no disrespect to Scunny, but they were hardly going to cause an upset or even draw away at Chelsea were they?(despite Chelsea’s rough season).

Obviously. But thats why i placed the bet. Only £20 winnings and surely thats a perfect mug bet?
