  • New to matched betting?

    My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Oh i misunderstood sorry,for some reason I thought you were trying to get money out of bet365 and into the exchange(giving bet365 the impression they have won some money back),so I figured why had you backed and laid Chelsea,which was almost guaranteed not to get you your money out of Bet365.

    Was it a normal punt?

    No i had laid it aswell. Just trying to look like a normal punter whos placing big bets after winning a load. I want to give them some back but at small qualifying losses. The draw on spurs game only cost £1. I thought it had a good chance of losing 🙁
    If betting was this easy bookies wouldnt exist. Ive got to get some wrong eventually

    I get what your doing with the mug betting Ice Magic,you just can imagine “Joe Punter” down the pub “oi oi,easy £20 ere,Chelsea will never lose versus c–py Scunthorpe,let ave itttttt”,You were unlucky with the Leicester game tho ,late minute penalty for Spurs.

    If I think a game is going to have goals, I lay the current score for a fiver, and only when the WillHill odds go down so that the free tenner would win me my anticipated loss do I then back the scoreline. Sometimes I make £20 before I even place my free bet. But sometimes I win less than the £7-7.50 I’d get from matched betting. And a 0-0 would win me nothing, but I haven’t had that yet.

    I received the same email on Friday evening 08.01.16. And it’s almost broken my spirit. I’ve had a b365 account for 5 years was doing mug bets for most of that time. Last April I started match betting and I’ve done every b365 £50 in play offer since April 2015.
    I have never done a Ch 4/1 offer so was under the impression I wasn’t doing enough to get gubbed.
    Anybody got any ideas of what to do next?

    I’m gubbed on b365,coral,tote,betfred,paddy power and Boyle sports.

    If it’s the end I just want to say matched betting was great and this blog was netting me £500 plus a month.

    Show no mercy on these bookies. Cane them for every offer they put out there.

    Best of luck peeps

    Sorry to hear that many of you have been restricted. I’m thinking that it may be because of how we do these offers. I know I usually win my backing bet on B365 and they are definitely losing money on me doing the offers. Maybe it’s a better idea to back and lay prematch and in-play instead in hope of not winning at B365 all the time..

    I didn’t realise this was going to be such a big cull when i started this thread!

    @nellie1
    i did the in play offer both Matts way and the ‘standard’ back and lay pre match so doubt it’s that either!
    Tried to place a bet with them this morning and my max bet is £1.67! What’s the point? Should have just kicked me out completely!!
    Oh well, will just have to try harder with other bookies!

    It may be a idea to not max out every offer as well. I dont think ive ever put the full £50 on a 4/1 offer. Realistically though i think theres a lot of luck involved or bad luck if your the one who gets pulled. Since i started this in october im -£400 with betfair and my 30 day balance on smarkets is -£475. I really should have kept a record of my total with them but i havent. So my profit with the bookies is well over £2k. I think ive won most with PP and Hills so im awaiting the dreaded email.

    Anybody else considering trying to create a new account?

    I know as soon as the next in-play comes along, it’s going to really sink in.

    Yeah, definitely! They are not a partner-friendly bookie from what I can tell, so new:

    * name
    * postal address
    * IP address (presumably?)
    * deposit method

    …are all going to be required. I wonder whether a new mobile device (for the app) would be needed to, if you want to operate a “fresh” account remotely?

    On the flip side, if we can manage all that then the £200 SUB is available again I suppose 🙂

    This reminds me of the PP culling a few months ago when a load of us got banned at the same time. Despite mug betting like crazy.
