Dry patch after December?

  • Hey I was just wondering for those that have been doing matched betting for a while after December will the offers start to dry up?this December has been crazy and full of offers/advent calendars etc.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Hope so Ryan, December was my best month (profit wise) so far, so it’s slightly frustrating having all this money ready to be put to good use with bugger all to use it on, haha!

I’ve made fantastic money the first 4 days of this month from matched betting, the offers are there, you just have to look and put in a bit of time.

Where’s this idea that theres no money to be made this month coming from? It’s the 4th of January and I’ve made 55 quid. Could’ve been more with more effort.

Dan, danger, ice… what offers have you been cashing in on? Just those on the blog or other gems?

I got lucky on the C4 races hitting two winners with bet365. Also had the usual blog items plus a 2nd place with william hill.
Skybet horse offer, netbet risk free, skybet £10 in play on two games

Was the best day Ive had so far so was well happy

Funny I was just thinking that I was hoping wh would continue the 20 pre match 10 in play as I did really well with that one. I really hope it picks up again. I know there are racing offers during the day but I’m at work most of the time so I miss most of them. Fingers crossed!

Tony to compensate for the lack of offers shoved in our faces I’ve been spending the extra free time doing more horse racing offers.

Just yesterday Boyles had a MB if 2nd to SP offer, the SP went off odds on so was a good one, got a 25 FB there. Also doing Will Hills, Bet365s and PP’s. Betfred and Totesport.

Spreading them out so as not to over do it, I have multiple accounts with some too so that helps.

This is also a great time to add new sign up bonuses and I’m losing money out of a dodgy account into the exchange too.

Getting the housework done so to speak while we have a calm before the storm.

Yeah, I suspect most of those making hay right now are into the horses. However, I am at work during the day and cannot take advantage of these, nor do I have the time to trawl through and work out which races are worth bothering with.

I think my woeful strike rate on the normal MBS horse races (where it was just 2nd, not 2nd to the SP fav only) has tainted my view of how lucrative these offers can really be. They seem more likely to get you gubbed than return too much profit to me, but that is just my opinion of course.

Remaining SUB should be my focus, as I have only really done the “mainstream” highstreet bookies. The likes of 138, netbet, bet-at-home, youwin, tonybet are still on my to-do list, so I guess I know what to focus on.

I honestly thought that Jan would be Ladbrokes month (like Dec was Hills and Nov Paddys), but it’s still early I suppose.

I’m with you tony, definitely a lot quieter for me which could mean I need to get on the horses when I’m at work?!. Instead I’m going to do the netbet welcome offer this week and see what starts to appear.
