It’s Week 7 of the Premier League Darts 2017 and 10Bet are getting in on the action! Simply place a pre-match Winner bet on any match in the Betway Premier League, and if the match ends in a draw, 10Bet will refund losing stakes as a free bet, up to £10.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £30.00+ and here’s how…
Qualifying Bets:
The schedule for tonight (Thursday 16th March 2017) is as follows…
Start time | Fixture |
---|---|
19:20 | James Wade v Jelle Klaasen |
20:10 | Peter Wright v Dave Chisnall |
20:50 | Raymond van Barneveld v Gary Anderson |
21:30 | Kim Huybrechts v Adrian Lewis |
22:00 | Phil Taylor v Michael van Gerwen |
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
We’ll need to place our bets on either player to win in the ‘Winner FT’ market. There are 12 legs in each match, so if the match ends in a 6-6 draw, 10Bet will refund losing bets as a free bet, up to a maximum of £10.00.
It’s entirely up to you who you go for. Having looked at the odds available for James Wade v Jelle Klaasen, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Jelle Klaasen.
I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.
We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £9.58…
Place £10.00 on Jelle Klaasen @ 2.95 = Potential profit of £19.50
Lay £9.58 on Jelle Klaasen @ 3.10 = Potential liability of £20.11
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Klaasen wins | + £19.50 – £20.11 = £0.61 loss |
Draw | – £10.00 + £9.38 + £8.00 (extract 80% from £10.00 free bet) = £7.38 profit |
Wade wins | – £10.00 + £9.38 = £0.62 loss |
So, if the match is drawn, we’ll make a nice profit of £7.38. Any other outcome and we’ll make a maximum loss of £0.62. Risking £0.62 to make a profit of £7.38, gives us effective odds of 12.90. Given that the odds on a draw are currently 4.45, this is a profitable offer in the long run.
This offer is available on all five matches. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on, but here’s what I’ll be going for…
Fixture | Selection | Back Odds | Lay Odds | Qualifying Loss | Potential Profit |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Wade v Klaasen | Klaasen | 2.95 | 3.10 | £0.62 | £7.38 |
Wright v Chisnall | Wright | 1.58 | 1.66 | £0.55 | £7.43 |
van Barneveld v Anderson | Anderson | 1.69 | 1.79 | £0.65 | £7.35 |
Huybrechts v Lewis | Lewis | 1.90 | 2.00 | £0.60 | £7.40 |
Taylor v van Gerwen | van Gerwen | 1.385 | 1.46 | £0.57 | £7.42 |
If eligible, our free bets will be credited within 24 hours of our qualifying bets being settled and will be valid for 7 days. Free bet stakes are not included in any returns.
If you’re not sure how to extract 80% cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
