Qualifying Bets:

To qualify for a £25.00 free bet, we must place 3 x £25.00 in play bets on any World Matchplay Darts matches being played this weekend (Saturday 16th July 2016 – Sunday 17th July 2016). Qualifying bets must be placed at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater, to be eligible.

We will need to lay our bets at Betfair and we can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £2.00 on each of our 3 qualifying bets

So we will lose approximately £6.00 in qualifying for our £25.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £25.00 free bet will be credited within 24 hours of our qualifying bets being settled.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of our £25.00 free bet as cash, so around £20.00. If we take into consideration our qualifying loss of £6.00, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £14.00 on this Betfred offer!

Smarkets don’t seem to be offering any in play market for darts, only outright winner. Am I missing something here?

The Odds jump around a lot during play, so much so, whilst trying to lay my bets last night & this afternoon, ended up with a £12 Qualifying Profit.
Could have quite easily gone the other way though…

I’m presently on Betfred (15.20) on the in play section, and the White-Guerny match is displaying as ‘live’ even though it doesn’t start until 16.00 – Is this Betfred trying to scam us?

  This is what I came on the forum to say.
  
  White-Gurney match was displayed as live 20-30 minutes before the game started and I made a bet before it started, hopefully they will see that it was ‘in-play’ regardless of what time they played.
  
  I’ll email them tonight and ask if all three of my bets qualified as I don’t want to lose the free bet.

It’s just too fast paced I can’t get the right odds in place on the calculator to back and lay, are there any intervals? Or do I need additional software?

After doing 4 matches tonight and getting one voided because apparently it wasn’t in-play despite them having walked out for the match and practicing on the board, I finally got all three matches done at a loss of £29.97. I put Wade down to win but before I could do anything on the exchange, the odds rocketed up so quickly and I was facing £9-10 losses already, I decided to leave it and watch the match and of course, Wade had a stinker!

But hey, at least a free £25 bet tomorrow to recoup massive losses…. :/ Won’t be doing in-play darts ever again, that’s for sure!

  The best ones to do are the matches in which match winner is 2.0 odds or so. I managed to get a QL of £-1.50 on the first two matches, it’s the Wade one which screwed me over as he was heavily favorite but losing the first two legs badly made the odds go crazy for a while and I ended up with £-25 loss.
  
  I’ve deposited £180 to gain this free £25 and I’m walking away with maybe £160 at most after using the free £25 bet, woo.

Not used to laying On Betfair the system stinks! Put my first 2 bets on fine had made a combined loss of about £3 then I placed my 3rd on hanky at 4.2 but as I went to lay it off on betfair realised the game had not yet started even though it said live on betfair I knew it wouldn’t stand for the offer. So as I was lamenting this the odds dropped to 2 so later it and made a nice profit. Then waited for the match to start. To bet another bet to qualify for the offer. This time the odds were changes so rapidly I couldn’t lay my bet off which was at 1.81 on hanky. I kept cancelling as the bets were unmatched finally played it off at 1.41 again nice profit but afterwards realised 2 unmatched bets which I thought had cancelled had gone though. I looked for them before placing again but couldn’t find them. Smarkets system is much easier to use. Broke even more or less in the end.
