Betway Offer – Premier League Darts 2017

It’s Week 5 of the Premier League Darts 2017 and you don’t want to miss this Betway offer! Simply place a Win/Draw/Win bet on any match in the Betway Premier League, and if the player we back loses the first leg and wins the match, Betway will double our winnings as a free bet, up to £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £50.00+ and here’s how…

Qualifying Bets:

The schedule for tonight (Thursday 2nd March 2017) is as follows…

Start time Fixture
19:20 Dave Chisnall v Raymond van Barneveld
20:00 Jelle Klaasen v Kim Huybrechts
20:45 Gary Anderson v Phil Taylor
21:10 Adrian Lewis v Peter Wright
22:10 James Wade v Dave Chisnall

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

If our selection loses the first leg and goes on to win the match, Betway will double our winnings as a free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00.

In darts, the player who throws first in a leg has the advantage and is expected to win the leg. The player listed first in the above fixtures will throw first in the first leg.

It’s entirely up to you who you go for. Having looked at the odds available for Dave Chisnall v Raymond van Barneveld, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Raymond van Barneveld.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £24.27…

Place £25.00 on van Barneveld @ 2.00 = Potential profit of £25.00

smarkets whiteLay £24.27 on van Barneveld @ 2.08 = Potential liability of £26.21

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

van Barneveld wins having won the first leg + £25.00 – £26.21 = £1.21 loss
van Barneveld wins having lost the first leg + £25.00 – £26.21 + £20.00 (extract 80% from £25.00 free bet) = £18.79 profit
van Barneveld doesn’t win – £25.00 + £23.79 = £1.21 loss

So, if van Barneveld wins having lost the first leg, we’ll make a nice profit of £18.79. Any other outcome and we’ll make a small loss of £1.21. Risking £1.21 to make a profit of £18.79, gives us effective odds of 16.53, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.

This offer is available on all five matches. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on. I’ll update the following table with my actual selections once the matches have been played…

Fixture Selection Back Odds Lay Odds Qualifying Loss Potential Profit
Chisnall v van Barneveld van Barneveld 2.00 2.08 £1.21 £18.79
Klaasen v Huybrechts Klaasen 2.25 2.34 £1.24 £18.76
Anderson v Taylor
Lewis v Wright Wright 2.10 2.30 £2.43 £17.57
Wade v Chisnall Chisnall 2.75 3.10 £3.13 £16.87

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% cash from a free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
