Guaranteed profit
Potential profit
My profit £2.19

I know it’s a long shot guys but I couldn’t resist this Paddy Power free bet offer.  Simply back Phil Taylor or Raymond van Barneveld to win the match and if the match is won with a 100+ checkout, Paddy Power will refund losing bets as a free bet up to a maximum of £100.00.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £82.18 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

It’s entirely up to you whether you back Phil Taylor or Raymond van Barneveld but I just got some great odds on Taylor!

Place £100.00 on Taylor @ 1.28 = Potential profit of £28.00

Lay £107.56 on Taylor @ 1.24 = Potential liability of £25.81

Let’s have a look at our current potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…

Taylor wins +£28.00 – £25.81 = £2.19 profit
Van Barneveld wins by throwing 100+ checkout -£100.00 + £102.18 + £80.00 (extract 80% from our £100.00 free bet) = £82.18 profit
Van Barneveld wins but doesn't throw a winning 100+ checkout -£100.00 + £102.18 = £2.18 profit

So regardless of the outcome of the match, we will make a minimum guaranteed profit of £2.18!  If Van Barneveld does manage to win the match with a 100+ checkout, we will make a massive profit of £82.18!  If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of the £100.00 free bet refund, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

There's still plenty of time Simon, just keep an eye on the odds. Might even be worth a go if you can limit your potential loss to a couple of quid. I'm keeping an eye on the other semi-final too but the odds aren't quite tight enough.
