The League of Legends World Championship 2020 is underway and you don’t want to miss this Midnite free bet offer. Simply place a £10.00+ bet on any Tower market and Midnite will give us a £5.00 bet credit next week, plus a £5.00 bet credit for the Grand Final. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.58 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • Minimum stake of £10.00.
  • Minimum odds of 1.80 (4/5).
  • Applies to bets placed on any Tower market during the Play-in stage.
  • Applies to bets placed between Friday 25th September 2020 and Wednesday 30th September 2020.

NOTE: The Tower markets aren’t likely to be found on the exchanges, so you’ll need to dutch your qualifying bet at another bookmaker. Bet365 and Sky Bet are two bookmakers worth looking at as they offer plenty of Esports markets.

Qualifying Bet:

This offer is available for all 4 weeks of the League of Legends World Championship 2020. This post is specifically for Week 1, which is the Play-in stage of the tournament. We must place our bet on a Tower market, to be eligible for the free bets.

Having looked at the odds available for PSG Talon v Unicorns of Love on Saturday 26th September 2020, we could place our qualifying bet on PSG Talon in the Map 1 – Team to Destroy First Tower market at odds of 2.00 (evens).

At the time of writing, Bet365 have the best odds for Unicorns of Love in the same market at 1.833 (5/6).

We can calculate our Unicorns of Love stake using the ‘First Selection‘ and ‘Standard Bet‘ settings on my Dutching Calculator

As you can see, the calculator tells us to stake £10.91 on Unicorns of Love in the Map 1 – First Team To Destroy Tower market…

Midnite logo

Place £10.00 on PSG Talon to destroy the first tower @ 2.00 = Potential profit of £10.00

Bet365 logo

Place £10.91 on Unicorns of Love to destroy the first tower @ 1.833 = Potential profit of £9.08

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two potential outcomes…

Outcome Midnite Bet365 Profit/Loss
PSG Talon destroy the first tower +£10.00 -£10.91 £0.91 loss
Unicorns of Love destroy the first tower -£10.00 +£9.08 £0.92 loss

So, worst case scenario, we’ll lose a maximum of £0.92 in qualifying for our 2 x £5.00 free bets.

Free Bets:

We’ll receive a £5.00 bet credit for next week’s challenge, plus a £5.00 bet credit to use on the Grand Final. Bet credits for the final will be awarded at least 24 hours prior to the event. Bet credits are not bound by any wagering requirements.

Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bets into 75% cash, so £7.50. If we take into account our maximum qualifying loss of £0.92, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.58 on this Midnite offer!

* Unicorns of Love destroyed the first tower, resulting in a profit of £6.58 on this Midnite offer. *

How can we make a guaranteed profit off the free bets if we cannot lay them?

The first free bet can be used to qualify for next weeks offer Paul. It’ll need to be placed on any Dragon market. There’s a ‘Free Bet‘ setting on the Dutching Calculator for this.

The free bets for the Grand Final aren’t restricted to a particular market so you should be able to place them on the Match Winner market and lay them at the exchanges.

I thought the minimum bet to qualify for the ‘Dragon’ market was £10? Maybe I’m misunderstanding something here.

Do we have to punt the qualifying bet as there’s no ‘Fells first Tower’ market for laying?

This is explained in the post John.

My recommended method is dutching, but punting is okay too if you’d rather treat it as advantage play.

I still don’t get this offer. It doesn’t matter what combination I try the dutching calculator never returns 70percent profit from the free bet

It may be best to place your bet credit on a Match Winner market and lay at the exchange. Then you can place a separate qualifying bet for Week 2. Depending on the odds though, you may need to accept less than 75% cash from the bet credit.
