BetBright Offer – Liverpool v Sevilla

Liverpool face Sevilla in the 2015/16 Europa League Final tonight and BetBright are running a great little in play offer. Simply bet £20.00 pre-match on Liverpool v Sevilla and BetBright will give us 2 x £10.00 risk-free in play bets on the same game! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £39.15 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

This offer is ONLY available on the BetBright app.

It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, as long as you place it at the minimum odds of 1.66 (4/6) or greater. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on a draw.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £19.54…

Place £20.00 on a draw @ 3.40 = Potential profit of £48.00

Lay £19.54 on a draw @ 3.50 = Potential liability of £48.85

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Draw + £48.00 – £48.85 = £0.85 loss
Not a draw – £20.00 + £19.15 = £0.85 loss

So, regardless of the result of match, we will lose £0.85 in qualifying for our 2 x £10.00 risk-free in play bets.

Risk-Free In Play Bets:

We must place one of our £10.00 risk-free in play bets in the first half and then our other £10.00 risk-free in play bet in the second half using our own funds. If either of our in play bets lose, BetBright will refund our stake as a free bet by 11:00 on Thursday 19th May 2016. Free bets must be used on football by midnight on Thursday 19th May 2016.

It’s entirely up to you how you want to play this, but my advice is to treat this as a speculative offer and use these risk-free bets as punts. This is because our bets need to be placed whilst the game is live (we’re unable to place them at half-time) and it’s doubtful we will find close enough back and lay odds, to lock in a satisfactory profit.

I’ll be using these risk-free bets as punts. If I hit a winner, great, and if I don’t, I should be able to extract 80% out of the 2 x £10.00 free bet refunds as cash. This means I stand to lose a maximum of £4.85 on this offer, but I could win big.

If I were to place my 2 x £10.00 risk-free in play bets on winning selections at odds of 3.00, I would have winnings of £40.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.85, this gives us a potential profit of £39.15 on this BetBright offer.

I’ll update the bottom of this post with my actual in play selections after the game.

* I was unable to place my risk-free in play bets on this game, meaning I made a loss of £0.85 on this BetBright offer. *
