BetBright Offer – Premier League In Play Special

There’s a big evening of Premier League football to look forward to and you don’t want to miss this BetBright offer! Simply bet in play on any midweek Premier League match and for every £50.00 staked, BetBright will give us a £5.00 free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £11.06 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed in play at odds of 1.66 (4/6) or greater.

For every £50.00 staked, we will receive a £5.00 free bet. Therefore, in order to claim the maximum £25.00 in free bets, we’ll need to stake a total of £250.00.

I recommend placing our qualifying bets at half-time when the odds are fairly stable, as it reduces the risk of the odds fluctuating unfavourably whilst we are trying to get our lay bets on.

It’s impossible to know what odds will be available until the matches have kicked off, but the following example will give you an idea of how this offer might pan out. I’ll update the bottom of the post with my actual selection after the matches have been played.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stakes using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £247.25…

Place £250.00 on Man City @ 1.80 = Potential profit of £200.00

smarkets white

Lay £247.25 on Man City @ 1.84 = Potential liability of £207.69

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Man City win + £200.00 – £207.69 = £7.69 loss
Man City don’t win – £250.00 + £242.31 (£247.25 minus 2% commission) = £7.69 loss

So, regardless of the result of the match, we will lose £7.69 in qualifying for our 5 x £5.00 free bets.

Free Bets:

Our 5 x £5.00 free bets will be credited by 11:00 on Thursday 15th December 2016 and must be used on football by 23:59 the same day. We should be able to find a suitable market on Coventry City v Sheffield United in League One (19:45 kick-off).

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 75% out of the 5 x £5.00 free bets as cash, so £18.75. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £7.69, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £11.06 on this BetBright offer!

* I actually placed my qualifying in play bet on Stoke City v Southampton being a draw at back odds of 2.875 and lay odds of 2.88, meaning I made a profit of £15.03 on this BetBright offer. *
