Betfair Sportsbook Offer – Premier League Cash Out Bonus

It’s Week 22 of the Premier League 2016/17 season and you don’t want to miss this Betfair offer! Simply place a bet on any televised Premier League game this weekend, and if we cash out for a profit, Betfair will give us a 50% bonus as a free bet. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £76.21 and here’s how…

Betfair Offer - Premier League Cash Out Bonus

Qualifying Bets:

This weekend’s eligible matches are as follows…

Fixture Kick-Off Date
Liverpool v Swansea 12:30 Saturday 21st January 2017
Man City v Tottenham 17:30 Saturday 21st January 2017
Southampton v Leicester 12:00 Sunday 22nd January 2017
Arsenal v Burnley 14:15 Sunday 22nd January 2017
Chelsea v Hull 16:30 Sunday 22nd January 2017

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed between 11:01 on Friday 20th January 2017 and 23:59 on Sunday 22nd January 2017, to be eligible.

We can qualify for this promotion a maximum of five times, once for each of the five eligible matches. We can only receive one bonus per game.

The maximum qualifying stake for this offer is £25.00 and the maximum bonus is £50.00. Bonuses will be credited as a free bet within 24 hours of our qualifying profitable cash out and will be valid for 48 hours.

The strategy for these cash out offers is to back and lay our qualifying bet as normal and then see how things play out in play. If our selection is winning and we can cash out for almost the full amount, we should cash out. We just need to make sure that the extracted cash from the incoming free bet more than covers our qualifying loss and the amount lost in cashing out early, hence leaving us with a profit.

Having looked at the odds available for Liverpool v Swansea, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on a draw in the ‘Match Odds’ market.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £25.07…

Place £25.00 on a draw @ 7.00 = Potential profit of £150.00

smarkets whiteLay £25.07 on a draw @ 7.00 = Potential liability of £150.43

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Draw + £150.00 – £150.43 = £0.43 loss
Not a draw – £25.00 + £24.57 (£25.07 minus 2% commission) = £0.43 loss

So, we will lose £0.43 in qualifying for this Betfair offer.

If the scores are level during the closing stages of the match, we should be able to cash out for around 90% of the full amount of profit, so £135.00. We will then receive the maximum £50.00 bonus.

By using straightforward matched betting, we can extract 80% cash from any free bet, so around £40.00 in this instance. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.43 and the £15.00 we lost by cashing out early, this gives us an overall profit of £24.57.

Risking £0.43 to make a profit of £24.57, gives us effective odds of 58.14, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a very profitable offer in the long run.

This offer is available on all five televised Premier League matches. It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bets on. I’ll update the following table with my selections throughout the weekend…

Fixture Selection Back Odds Lay Odds Qualifying Loss Potential Profit
Liverpool v Swansea Draw 7.00 7.00 £0.43 £24.57
Man City v Tottenham Tottenham 3.60 3.75 £1.35 £15.55
Southampton v Leicester Draw 3.50 3.60 £1.05 £15.20
Arsenal v Burnley Draw 8.00 8.40 £1.61 £20.89
Chelsea v Hull n/a n/a n/a n/a n/a

So, as you can see, we’ll lose £4.44 if none of our bets come in, but with £76.21 profit up for grabs, this offer is well worth a shot!

* I cashed out on Arsenal v Burnley after Burnley equalised in the 93rd minute to make it 1-1. Arsenal then scored in the 98th minute to win the match 2-1. This meant I also won my lay bet at Smarkets, meaning I made a profit of £220.89 on this match and an overall profit of £218.06 on this Betfair offer. *
