Qualifying bets must be placed pre-match at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater, between 00:00 on Tuesday 16th August 2016 and 23:59 on Wednesday 17th August 2016, to be eligible.
The terms state that we are able to claim one £5.00 free bet per day, so we can place a qualifying bet on Tuesday and Wednesday to bag two £5.00 free bets.
Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my first qualifying bet on Manchester City to beat Steaua Bucharest (Tuesday).

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £9.83…
Place £10.00 on Man City @ 1.533 = Potential profit of £5.33
Lay £9.83 on Man City @ 1.58 = Potential liability of £5.70
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
| Man City win | + £5.33 – £5.70 = £0.37 loss |
| Man City don’t win | – £10.00 + £9.63 (£9.83 minus 2% commission) = £0.37 loss |
So regardless of the result of match, we will lose £0.37 in qualifying for our £5.00 free bet.
Free Bet:
Our £5.00 free bet will be credited within 48 hours of our qualifying bet being settled and will be valid for 7 days.
By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of the £5.00 free bet as cash, so £4.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.37, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £3.63! If we repeat the same process on one of Wednesday’s matches, we should make an overall guaranteed profit of £7.26 on this BetStars offer!
