BetVictor Free Bet Offer – Man City v Man Utd

I love BetVictor free bet offers because their odds are some of the most competitive around.  If a red card is shown at any time during the Manchester City v Manchester United match, BetVictor will refund losing correct score, First/Last/Anytime Goalscorer, Half-Time/Full-Time, Scorecast & Spincast bets as a FREE BET up to £10.00.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £7.20 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

Whenever I do these BetVictor free bet offers, I always stick to the correct score market. I find the liquidity at the betting exchange is far better than goalscorer markets and I just feel more comfortable here.  It’s entirely up to you which score you go for.  Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted for a 2-2 draw.

betvictor

Place £10.00 on 2-2 draw @ 14.00 = Potential profit of £130.00

betfair

Lay £9.69 on 2-2 draw @ 14.50 = Potential liability of £130.82

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the various outcomes…

2-2 draw +£130.00 – £130.82 = £0.82 loss
Not 2-2 draw and red card -£10.00 + £9.20 + £8.00 (Assumes an 80% return from our £10.00 free bet) = £7.20 profit
Not 2-2 draw without red card -£10.00 + £9.20 = £0.80 loss

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of our £10.00 free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

So we will make £7.20 profit if the game doesn’t finish 2-2 and a red card is shown!  If the game finishes 2-2 or no red card is shown, we will make a maximum loss of £0.82, which I’m sure you’ll agree is a risk well worth taking as the odds of a red card being shown are around 3.40.
