It’s Week 6 of the Premier League 2016/17 season and you don’t want to miss this BoyleSports offer! Simply place a pre-match bet on selected Premier League games this weekend, and if either side hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund losing stakes on all pre-match markets as a free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us an overall potential profit of £97.07 and here’s how…
Qualifying Bets:
This weekend’s eligible matches are as follows…
Fixture | Kick-Off | Date |
---|---|---|
Man Utd v Leicester City | 12:30 | Saturday 24th September 2016 |
Swansea v Man City | 15:00 | Saturday 24th September 2016 |
Arsenal v Chelsea | 17:30 | Saturday 24th September 2016 |
West Ham v Southampton | 16:00 | Sunday 25th September 2016 |
Burnley v Watford | 20:00 | Monday 26th September 2016 |
We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
If either team hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund all losing bets on all pre-match markets for that particular match. Just to clarify, the ball must strike the crossbar and rebound back into play. The side posts do not count for the purposes of this offer.
Having looked at the odds available for Manchester United v Leicester City, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Manchester United in the Match Betting market.
I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.
We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £25.00…
Place £25.00 on Man Utd @ 1.75 = Potential profit of £18.75
Lay £25.00 on Man Utd @ 1.77 = Potential liability of £19.25
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Man Utd win | + £18.75 – £19.25 = £0.50 loss |
Man Utd don’t win and crossbar struck | – £25.00 + £24.50 + £20.00 (extract 80% from stake refund) = £19.50 profit |
Man Utd don’t win and crossbar not struck | – £25.00 + £24.50 = £0.50 loss |
So, if Manchester United don’t win and the crossbar is struck, we will make a nice profit of £19.50. If, however, Manchester United do win or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a small loss of £0.50. Risking £0.50 to make a profit of £19.50, gives us effective odds of 40.00, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a very profitable offer in the long run.
This offer is available on all five specified matches. It’s entirely up to you which selections you go for, but here’s what I’ll be going for…
Fixture | Selection | Back Odds | Lay Odds | Qualifying Loss | Potential Profit |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Man Utd v Leicester City | Man Utd | 1.75 | 1.77 | £0.50 | £19.50 |
Swansea v Man City | Man City | 1.364 | 1.39 | £0.61 | £19.39 |
Arsenal v Chelsea | Draw | 3.60 | 3.60 | £0.36 | £19.64 |
West Ham v Southampton | West Ham | 3.00 | 3.05 | £0.74 | £19.26 |
Burnley v Watford | Draw | 3.25 | 3.30 | £0.72 | £19.28 |
So, as you can see, we’ll lose £2.93 if we don’t hit any winners, but with £97.07 in potential profit up for grabs, this offer is well worth a shot!
