The Premier League 2016/17 season gets underway on Saturday and you don’t want to miss this BoyleSports offer! Simply place a pre-match bet on selected Premier League games this weekend, and if either side hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund losing stakes on all pre-match markets as a free bet, up to a maximum of £25.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £92.35 and here’s how…
Qualifying Bets:
This weekend’s eligible matches are as follows…
Fixture | Kick-Off | Date |
---|---|---|
Hull City v Leicester City | 12:30 | Saturday 13th August 2016 |
Everton v Tottenham | 15:00 | Saturday 13th August 2016 |
Man City v Sunderland | 17:30 | Saturday 13th August 2016 |
Bournemouth v Manchester United | 13:30 | Sunday 14th August 2016 |
Arsenal v Liverpool | 16:00 | Sunday 14th August 2016 |
Chelsea v West Ham | 20:00 | Monday 15th August 2016 |
We must opt-in to this promotion to be eligible.
If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.
If either team hits the crossbar, BoyleSports will refund all losing bets on all pre-match markets for that particular match. Just to clarify, the ball must strike the crossbar and rebound back into play. The side posts do not count for the purposes of this offer.
Having looked at the odds available for Hull City v Leicester City, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on a draw.
I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges.
We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…
As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £23.42…
Place £25.00 on a draw @ 3.40 = Potential profit of £60.00
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…
Draw | + £60.00 – £62.05 = £2.05 loss |
Not a draw and crossbar struck | – £25.00 + £22.95 + £20.00 (extract 80% from stake refund) = £17.95 profit |
Not a draw and crossbar not struck | – £25.00 + £22.95 = £2.05 loss |
So, if the game isn’t a draw and the crossbar is struck, we will make a nice profit of £17.95. If the game is a draw or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a small loss of £2.05. Risking £2.05 to make a profit of £17.95, gives us effective odds of 9.76, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.
This offer is available on all six specified matches. It’s entirely up to you which selections you go for, but here’s what I’ll be going for…
Fixture | Selection | Back Odds | Lay Odds | Qualifying Loss | Potential Profit |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Hull City v Leicester City | Draw | 3.40 | 3.65 | £2.05 | £17.95 |
Everton v Tottenham | Everton | 3.20 | 3.30 | £1.10 | £18.90 |
Man City v Sunderland | None | n/a | n/a | n/a | n/a |
Bournemouth v Manchester United | Draw | 3.60 | 3.75 | £1.35 | £18.65 |
Arsenal v Liverpool | Draw | 3.50 | 3.60 | £1.05 | £18.95 |
Chelsea v West Ham | Draw | 4.00 | 4.30 | £2.10 | £17.90 |
So, as you can see, we’ll lose £7.65 if we don’t hit any winners, but with £92.35 in potential profit up for grabs, this offer is well worth a shot!
