We must opt-in on the promotions page and place our qualifying bet before 12:00 on Tuesday 6th September, to be eligible.
It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on. Having looked at the odds available, I’ve opted to place my qualifying bet on Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.

Place £20.00 on Sergio Aguero @ 4.50 = Potential profit of £70.00
Lay £16.13 on Sergio Aguero @ 5.60 = Potential liability of £74.19
Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the following outcomes…
| Aguero top scores | + £70.00 – £74.19 = £4.19 loss |
| Aguero doesn’t top score | – £20.00 + £15.81 (£16.13 minus 2% commission) = £4.19 loss |
So, regardless of who finishes top scorer, we will lose £4.19 in qualifying for our potential free bets.
Free Bets:
For every goal that Sergio Aguero scores between now and 31st December 2016, we will receive a £2.00 free bet within 24 hours. Free bets will be valid for 7 days.
If Sergio Aguero were to score 12 goals, we would receive £24.00 worth (12 x £2.00) of free bets, from which we would extract 80% as cash, so £19.20. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £4.19, this gives us a potential profit of £15.01 on this BoyleSports offer!
NOTE: If you do not wish to have funds tied up in your Smarkets account for the duration of the season, you could let your back bet run as a punt. Aguero should score enough goals to cover your £20.00 stake and if he finishes as top scorer, you’ll make a nice profit of £70.00 in addition to the free bets.
