So, if Denmark win and the crossbar is struck, we’ll make a nice profit of £24.43. However, if Denmark don’t win or the crossbar isn’t struck, we’ll have made a loss of £1.07. Risking £1.07 to make a profit of £24.43 gives us effective odds of 23.83, which I’m sure you’ll agree, makes this a profitable offer in the long run.
