ComeOn Offer – Manchester City v Chelsea

Manchester City take on Chelsea this afternoon in a match that could have huge connotations for the outcome of this year’s title race and this ComeOn offer isn’t to be missed. Simply place a pre-match £25.00 single bet on Manchester City v Chelsea and if our bet wins, we’ll get an extra £5.00 bonus for each goal scored in the game! Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £21.32 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

In order to qualify for this promotion we need to OPT-IN with our registered username on the promotion page. Qualifying bets must be pre-match single bets of £25.00 or more with minimum odds of 1.75 on Manchester City vs Chelsea.  We will only be eligible for the goal bonuses if our qualifying bet wins.

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

It’s entirely up to you who you place your qualifying bet on but I’ve decided to go for a Manchester City win as this has the best chance of winning based on the current odds.

I like to place my exchange lay bets with Smarkets as they have great liquidity, the site is really easy to use and they only charge 2% commission in comparison to the 5% charged by other betting exchanges. We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

comeonPlace £25.00 on Man City @ 2.10 = Potential profit of £27.50

smarkets whiteLay £24.31 on Man City @ 2.18 = Potential liability of £28.68

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two outcomes…

Man City win +£27.50 – £28.68 = £1.18 loss
Man City don’t win -£25.00 + £23.82 = £1.18 loss

So regardless of the result of the match, we will lose £1.18 in qualifying for this ComeOn offer.

Free Bet:

If Manchester City win, we will receive a £5.00 bonus for every goal scored in the game. Goal bonuses will be credited to our accounts by 18.00 CET on Monday 17th August 2015. We have 2 days to grab the bonus and then 7 days to complete the required rollover.

Bonuses must be wagered 3 times at minimum odds of 1.75 before any subsequent winnings can be withdrawn. By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 90% out of any bonuses we receive. Say for example, Manchester City beat Chelsea 4-1. We would receive £25.00 worth (5 x £5.00) of goal bonuses and we would extract £22.50 as cash.  If we take into account our qualifying loss of £1.18, this gives us a potential profit of £21.32!

When extracting profit from bonuses, we can treat it exactly the same as a qualifying bet as the bonus stake is returned with any winnings. See my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how it should be done.

* Manchester City won the match 3-0, meaning I received 3 x £5.00 bonuses. I therefore made an overall profit of £12.32. *
