Place a £5.00+ in play bet on Champions League football and Coral will give us a £5.00 free bet to use on any in play football market. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £7.00 and here’s how…

Either exchange works for this offer
Betfair and Smarkets are both great options for this offer. If you’ve not used one of them, now is a great time to give them a try.
- Money back as cash up to £20
- 0% commission for 60 days
We can calculate our lay stakes using my Matched Betting Calculator.
Aim to lose no more than £0.25 on each of our qualifying bets
So, we’ll lose around £0.50 in qualifying for our 2 x £5.00 free bets.
Free bets
Our £5.00 free bets will be credited immediately upon placement of our respective qualifying bets and will be valid on any in play football market for 7 days. Free bet stakes will not be included with any winnings.
Using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to convert our free bets into 75% cash, so £7.50. If we take into account our expected total qualifying loss of £0.50, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £7.00 on this Coral offer!

Guest userHi Matt
The offer doesn’t appear anywhere on the webpage or the app? Have I been gubbed?
I used a free £5 bet last week to match bet, but it won on the bookie end at Coral, so have they gubbed me because of that? Why?
Why give you free bets if they’re just going to take them away if one wins? Poor sports!
Should I contact them or just leave it, withdraw what’s there, only 40ish pounds and close the account?

1490Hi Kathy,
A bookmaker will usually notify you if your account has been restricted, so this isn’t necessarily a gubbing. It may be that the offer is only available to selected customers based on activity.
I would probably be inclined to sit this one out and place a mug bet or two on other events and see if the next offer shows.
I hope that helps.

Guest userHi Matt
I received no emails and it’s now showing on the site, but I may leave it like you suggested. I place regular bets with them anyway on golf and football.
Thank You x
Matt
1490That’s good to hear then Kathy. It won’t hurt to miss one if you’re unsure.
