As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £20.08…

Place £20.00 on Bayern Munich @ 2.45 = Potential profit of £29.00

Lay £20.08 on Bayern Munich @ 2.46 = Potential liability of £29.32

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the possible outcomes…

Bayern Munich win	+ £29.00 – £29.32 = £0.32 loss
Bayern Munich don’t win	– £20.00 + £19.68 = £0.32 loss

So, regardless of the result of match, we will lose £0.32 in qualifying for our £10.00 free in play bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free in play bet will be credited upon placement of our qualifying bet and must be used in play on Atletico Madrid v Bayern Munich, which kicks off at 19:45 on Wednesday 27th April 2016. The free bet will expire at 23:59 on Wednesday 27th April 2016.

  Hard to say without the odds being there yet, but I find correct score bets are good for extracting profit from free bets.
  You’ll want to compare the odds at coral and the betting exchanges to find odds that are fairly close to each other and are high enough to extract the most from the free bet (as free bet stake isn’t returned)

spoke to LC and had this reply “I have been told that customers are unable to place that bet themselves online as an error message comes up. You will need to call up on 0800 242 232 so that they can help you place it.”

Does W-D-W market mean only backing the 90 minute outcome of either team winning or a draw? The T&C’s seems to suggest that, but the advert on the site doesn’t. I’ll play it safe and lose a bit more in the qualifier just in case, but thought it worth asking for the sake of others.

Are we ok waiting until half time to put the in play bet on with this one pal, or are there any regulations you know of that will only allow it to be put on during actual play?

Hi Guys
Let me just get this right. So we back and Lay £20 on the QF bet. We then get credited £10 Free bet to be used in play. Why does it then say The free bet will expire at 23:59 on Wednesday 27th April 2016. ? If you have to use it in-play ? I’m obviously missing something.

  The free bet had to be used in play on the Atletico Madrid v Bayern Munich match. 23:59 will just be the set time that all unused free bets disappear from customer’s accounts.

Hi Matt.
Do you have a strategy for getting an account unrestricted?
I emailed coral as my free bet didn’t come through. They emailed back saying they “temporarily” removed my sports book bonuses. Perhaps I haven’t been giving coral as much attention regarding mug bets as I should and that is why I am in this situation.

Hi Matt,

How do you manage to extract so much from the free bet? I used the offer yesterday but was only able to get about £5.20 profit even though I picked pretty close odds.

Any tips would be useful.

  What odds did you place at Steve? Sometimes I get 70%, sometimes 80%+, but I would say it averages out at about 75% from free in play bets.

Coral were pretty harsh; I hadn’t used them for a while and was only £56 in profit with them so not huge really (they don’t have many deals). I put the £20 on before the match and then didn’t get any offer, then went on live chat after kick off and got told my account is banned from all promotions including this one! Luckily I had layed the bet as otherwise it’d have lost. Not a big Coral fan now 😀
