Coral Offer – Chelsea v PSG

Champions League football returns this week and so this lovely little Coral offer.  Simply place a pre-match £10.00+ Win Single bet on any football market this Monday or Tuesday and for every goal scored in the Chelsea v PSG match on Wednesday 11th March, Coral will give us a £2.00 free bet to use on any football market until Sunday 15th March.  Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £7.79 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how to place your qualifying bets.

The terms of the offer state that our qualifying bet must be placed at minimum odds of 1.50 (1/2).  It’s entirely up to you what you place your qualifying bet on, but I’ve opted to place mine on Eastleigh beating Kidderminster in The Conference Premier.

Place £10.00 on Eastleigh @ 3.00 = Potential profit of £20.00

betfair

Lay £10.31 on Eastleigh @ 2.96 = Potential liability of £20.21

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two outcomes…

Eastleigh win +£20.00 – £20.21 = £0.21 loss
Eastleigh don’t win -£10.00 + £9.79 (£10.31 minus 5% commission) = £0.21 loss

So regardless of the outcome, we will lose £0.21 in qualifying for this offer.

Free Bet:

For every goal that is scored in the Champions League match between Chelsea and PSG, we will receive a £2.00 free bet. Therefore, if five goals are scored, we would receive £10.00 in free bets. I would then extract 80% of these as cash, so £8.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.21, this gives us a potential profit of £7.79.

If you’re not sure how to extract 80% of the £10.00 free bet, please see my Free Bet Strategy page for a walkthrough guide on how it should be done.

* The result of the match after 90 minutes was Chelsea 1-1 PSG, which meant we received £4.00 in free bets. *
