There’s a big midweek of EFL action to look forward to and you don’t want to miss this Free Bet Club offer from Betfred! Simply place an in play bet on three different EFL matches across Tuesday or Wednesday and Betfred will give us a free bet equal to our average stake, up to £10.00. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.80 and here’s how…

Key Terms:

  • To claim the maximum £10.00 free bet, we must place 3 bets totalling £30.00+.
  • Qualifying bets must be placed in play at odds of 1.50 (1/2) or greater.
  • Applies to different English Football League matches taking place across Tuesday 11th February 2020 or Wednesday 12th February 2020.

Qualifying Bets:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

We can place our lay bets at Betfair or Smarkets.

We can calculate our lay stakes using the matched betting calculator.

Aim to lose no more than £0.40 on each of our 3 qualifying bets

So, we’ll lose approximately £1.20 in qualifying for our £10.00 free bet.

Free Bet:

Our £10.00 free bet will be credited by 12:00 on Thursday 13th February 2020 and will be valid until 09:00 on Friday 14th February 2020.

By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% cash from our £10.00 free bet, so £8.00. If we take into account our total qualifying loss of £1.20, this gives us a guaranteed profit of £6.80 on this Betfred offer!

Hi Matt, what is EFL? Is that the English Football Championship league?

Weirdly, I was given £20 in free bets for completing this offer. I used them, but after they settled my free bet balance went to -£10 – has anyone else seen this before?!

It doesn’t happen all that often Sam. If they credited you by mistake I think they’re within their rights to take it off the balance, which in this case leaves you with a negative amount.
