England v Belgium Offer – Coral

It’s England v Belgium in Group G on Thursday and Coral are getting in on the action. Simply bet £10.00+ on England to win and Coral will give us a £5.00 free bet for every goal they score. Translated into matched betting terms, this gives us a potential profit of £11.12 and here’s how…

Qualifying Bet:

If you’re unfamiliar with qualifying bets, please see my Qualifying Bet Strategy page for a walk-through guide on how they should be done.

Qualifying bets must be placed between 00:01 on Wednesday 27th June 2018 and 19:00 (kick-off) on Thursday 28th June 2018, to be eligible.

At the time of writing, laying our bet at Smarkets gives us the smallest qualifying loss.

We can calculate our lay stake using my matched betting calculator…

As you can see, the calculator tells us that our lay stake should be £9.31…

Coral logo

Place £10.00 on England @ 2.625 = Potential profit of £16.25

Smarkets logo

Lay £9.31 on England @ 2.84 = Potential liability of £17.13

Let’s have a look at our potential profit/loss for the two outcomes…

England win + £16.25 – £17.13 = £0.88 loss
England don’t win -£10.00 + £9.12 (£9.31 minus 2% commission) = £0.88 loss

So, regardless of the outcome, we’ll lose £0.88 in qualifying for our potential free bets.

Free Bets:

For every goal that England score, we’ll receive a £5.00 free bet within 24 hours of the final whistle, up to a maximum total of £15.00. Free bets will be valid for 24 hours and free bet stakes are not included in any returns.

If England score three or more goals, we’ll receive £15.00 in free bets. By using straightforward matched betting, we should be able to extract 80% of any free bets as cash, so £12.00. If we take into account our qualifying loss of £0.88, this gives us a potential profit of £11.12 on this Coral offer!

* Belgium won the match 1-0, resulting in a loss of £0.88 on this Coral offer. *
